Andreu Francés

Andreu Francés is the Head of Applied Science at F1 SeedTech. He graduated in Biology from the University of Alicante and holds a Master’s degree in Plant Genetics and Breeding from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He worked as a technician in a tissue culture laboratory for Vitis vinifera at the Institute for the Preservation and Improvement of Valencian Agro-diversity (COMAV).

During his four years of experience in the cannabis industry, Andreu has been involved in diverse R&D projects related to plant breeding. Furthermore, he has a postgraduate degree in Cannabis Production and Transformation Technologies from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
